We understand that your time is precious, and you can't always make the set coaching times.  We are now providing an optional opportunity for those who can't fit the group coaching in their schedule.  By participating in the Online program, you will be able to work through the coaching program at your own pace and on your own time!  

Our Beginner's group coaching program is the program that JERPAT Training & Coaching was built upon.  It has helped over 30 students (as of 2007) successfully build their businesses

JERPAT Training & Coaching’s program is unique from many other programs in that we have distinctive techniques to create a well rounded, informed, prepared VA, developed by a former teacher. By the end of the program, you will leave with your paperwork established, a website created, and a beginning marketing plan. You will also have a grasp of working with clients and building a relationship.

Why coaching?
Would you go up to the starting line of a marathon without any preparation, without any planning, and wearing the wrong clothing? Of course not! To be successful in a marathon, you have to train, wear the right running clothes and shoes and plan ahead for how it will affect your life. Preparation should also be taken when setting up your business.

A good coach not only helps you set up your business, but will also be there for you once everything is set up to make sure you stay on track. S/he will be there to help you when you get discouraged and listen to all of your triumphs. A good coach will also turn into a good friend, a good counselor, a mentor and more. What's involved in the online coaching program?
Direct Coaching Calls-These calls are the teaching moments of the program. They are structured calls led by the head coach on a specific topic, with homework based on what was learned in the call. Every homework assignment focuses on setting up your business.  Through this program, you will receive a copy of an actual coaching session plus a transcribed document.

Discussion Boards-Post questions, read other posts, in regards to questions, ideas, etc.  Coaches post responses, thoughts, and ideas once a day.  This is a great way to get to know other beginning VAs and get support from the JERPAT Coaching team, to further your knowledge of running a successful virtual assistance business.

Trade Hours-Depending on the program option you choose, you will have 4-7 trade hours to complete.  These hours give you experience with “real” virtual assistance projects. It allows for you to learn hands-on about building a relationship with a client and learn how to handle any issues that may arise with the guidance and support of your coach.

“Failure is NOT an Option” e-book-This e-book was written by founding coach, Patty Benton, and is the guide for the program. You will work through the book with the guidance of your coaches, gaining knowledge that is based on actual experiences.

What do I get with the Online Coaching Program?

To name a few things:

• Support from the JERPAT Training & Coaching team with your sessions and homework.

• Access to an online coaching board.  You will be able to post your questions and comments.  You will also be able to read past discussions/questions and communicate with other members of the group.  Access to the discussion boards is good for your membership (6 or 9 Months).

What does topics does the Online Beginner's Coaching Program cover?

We have 2 sessions.  Below are listed the main topic along with some of what is covered.  As the recordings are actual coaching sessions, other topics may be covered throughout the coaching call.  For the MOST SUCCESS, we recommend you take BOTH sessions!

Session 1: Business Basics

• Lesson 1 - Goals & Why Bother (What it takes to follow your VA dream.)

• Lesson 2 - Business Basics (Picking Your Name & Tagline, What You Need/Want, Scheduling, & more!)

• Lesson 3 - Paperwork (Set up your Filing System & establish your paperwork.)

• Lesson 4 - Business Procedures (Set up you company procedures.)

Session 2: Marketing Basics

• Lesson 5 - Web Design (What do you need for your website?)

• Lesson 6 - Marketing Plan (Create a basic Marketing Plan to get you going in your business.)

• Lesson 7 - Building Your Reputation (This lesson can make or break your business.  Learn how to build and maintain your reputation for a SUCCESSFUL business!)

How much does the program cost?

We respect that each of you have individual needs, and therefore we have set up 3 options.

Full Program (recommended):

• Get all 7 lessons, and become a JERPAT Team Member and all the benefits that come with it.

• Access to the Online Beginner's in NOT an Option's website with all the resources and material for 9 months.

• Cost is $347 and 7 trade hours. 

Partial Program:

• Only want to do a part of the program, take either Session 1 or Session 2.

• Access to the Online Beginner's in NOT an Option's website with all the resources and material for 6 months.

• Cost is $197 and 4 trade hours. 

How do I qualify for this program?
All you have to do is be able to answer yes to all of the below, go through an interview with a JERPAT Training & Coaching Coach and be approved.

• Have a working knowledge of computers and have the ability to comfortably work for long periods of time.

• Be able to work in the Microsoft Office products extensively.

• Have a computer, printer, and a designated work area. Also strongly recommended to have high speed internet.

• Be willing to openly listen to what is being taught, accept feedback, be willing to change necessary habits, and have a drive to succeed.

• Be able to work independently, have customer service skills, be organized and able to meet deadlines.

• Have the support of your immediate family and/or the people living with you.

Founding Coach and Program Director-Patty Benton, BA, Certified Life Coach

Patty first decided to go into coaching and establish a program that was affordable to all VAs who desired a coach to help establish their practice.  She learned early on that the majority of coaching programs were not affordable to the VA on a tight budget.  All of Patty's knowledge has come from her prior work experience and the trial and error of starting her business.  Her passion is to help other's who have the desire to own their own business, but do not know how to go about getting started. Dolly met Patty Benton through an online group for Christian moms, who introduced her to the world of Virtual Assistance. Dolly quickly signed up to become one of JTCs initial coaching students.
